This is my character, Raito, fully colored. I'm not finished with him quite yet, but I wanted to update the picture of him, since I changed it from last time I posted him in color.

Today I saw a picture of a character that looked like him, from the manga "Kobato". He looks like CLAMP's character in that manga, Fujikawa.....

I was talking to Kira about it, and this is what we concluded about CLAMP:

they're not really creative.

After investigating more about this manga I had no clue about, come to find out, there are a lot of crossovers yet again in the series...the most visible being CLAMP's Chobit's Chitose....they even used Freya and Chii/Elda....wtf? Again with the crossovers..

My biggest disappointment with CLAMP so far HAS to be Tsubasa. That thing is riddled with crossovers...from almost every manga that the 4 mangaka girls have created...I mean, it was cool and all at the beginning, now its like...what's the point? They do it so often.

xxxHoLiC wasn't that bad. I actually liked some of their storylines. They didn't directly involve characters (unless it was tied into with Tsubasa for one chapter or even half a chapter), and if they did, it was minor...it was using more objects than people, or referring to a previous work. They also referred to other works too such as Doreamon (didn't spell that correctly I think), Japanese phrases, etc. Their artwork in this was nice, even if it was unproportionate it was nice, considering it was a change from thier cutesy style.

So...yeah, my rant is done, but CLAMP needs to come out with a good story now that doesn't involve the characters in thier previous works.
